Following changes to the Rootsweb software, we have decided to use a form for subscription requests. This should

• ensure that the list administrator receives the appropriate information
• prevent flawed attempts from vanishing into a black hole

There are two basic options, List and Digest. List provides you with individual emails as they occur. Digest batches them into about one email a day and was perhaps designed for those who paid their ISP for each email received. If a Digest is several hours old when you see it, and you respond to a query, you will not know whether it has already been answered.

Digest users have the option of plain or MIME format. If you know you want the MIME format, click the third radio button. Otherwise click on the second.

Should you wish to subscribe to both the L and D forms, please complete the form twice with different email addresses.
