^{The other day I was fortunate enough to see the originals of our old school registers. They were en route to the County Record Office for safe keeping but I was able to inspect them overnight. Being unable and unwilling to copy all 1,850 entries I felt the least I could do was to list those Catholics who left the school for other countries. The details are below.}
