Agenda for the 35th Annual General Meeting

  1. Receive apologies for absence
  2. Acknowledge member organisations' representatives
  3. Accept the Minutes of the 34th AGM (as published in the June 2007 Sussex Family Historian)
  4. 2007 AGM Minutes and Reports
  5. Consider matters arising from the General Meeting Minutes
  6. Receive the report on the activities of the past year
  7. Receive and approve the accounts of the Charity
  8. Receive and accept the report of the Independent Examiners of the Accounts
  9. Elect the Honorary Officers and other members of the Executive Committee
  10. Confirm the appointment of Independent Examiners of the Charity's Account for the following year
  11. Discuss and take decisions on any submitted motions
  12. Consider any other business

Representatives of Subscribing Societies should give notice in writing to the Chairman prior to the commencement of the meeting of their authority to vote on behalf of that society

Nominations for the Executive Committee must be submitted to the Honorary Secretary at least 28 days prior to the meeting date. Nominations cannot be accepted after Saturday, 15th March 2008. Nomination forms are available from the Honorary Secretary.
